The cheapest to the priciest homes in Oakland in January, 2016

January, 2016 is over and 140 homes were sold in Oakland this January, compared to 161 in last January.   The city is very diverse and I was curious to find out the most affordable and the least affordable homes in the city.

 It turned out that 1106 75th Ave in East Oakland was the most affordable.  It was bank owned and sold for $170K. The 2-bed and 1-bath home under 900 sq ft home was sold to a cash buyer.  This may be come back as a flip property.  Who knows!

And the priciest home sold was 6889 DEVON WAY, in Claremont Hills.  This 4-bed and 5.5-bath, 14,000sqft home on 20 Acre land was sold with adjacent land for $20.5M!!!  And the shocking finding is that this too sold for a CASH buyer! It's a lot of money, you know...

 

The city of Oakland is indeed diverse beyond my imagination!  GO OAKLAND!!!
